Beginning near the southern tip of Flathead Lake, the route follows Highway 93 through the Flathead Indian Reservation, homeland of the Salish, Kootenai, and Pend d’Oreille peoples.
The valley offers a meaningful blend of natural beauty and cultural depth. Visitors can learn more about the region’s Indigenous heritage at The People’s Center in Pablo, explore historic landmarks like St. Ignatius Mission, and travel through communities that reflect the living culture and stewardship of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes.
Recreation is abundant throughout Mission Valley.
